Children’s Ministry

Childrens and Family Ministry at Trinity

“The Children’s Ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church exists to to love, teach, and
inspire children to develop compassion, purpose, and a sense of community.”

In this place, we learn respectfully,

welcome open and curious minds,

and maintain a supportive environment.

On Sundays, Nursery Care for infants through age 3 is provided from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Children’s Church is on Summer Break but will begin again on Sunday, August 4, 2024. Children’s Church occurs during our 10:30 Sunday service. Children ages 4 through 10 are invited to participate in the procession at the beginning of the service, experience a Children’s sermon, lesson, and an activity or craft led by Youth and Children’s Minister, Rachel White. Children leave from the Nave after the Collect and return for the Eucharist.

Children of all ages are welcome to remain in the Nave for the entirety of the service if so desired.

Trinity Episcopal Church adheres to the SafeGuarding Policies supplied by the Diocese of Texas to ensure the safety of all Children and Youth in our care.

Starting at age 10, children can serve as acolytes in the Sunday services, beginning with bearing the Gospel. Our acolytes serve as part of a rotating team, usually once or twice a month.
