Our Faith
Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
A Community of Diverse Perspectives
Our parish is enriched by people of different backgrounds, life experiences, and viewpoints who are united by our shared commitment to follow Jesus Christ in the Episcopal tradition. We value thoughtful conversation, mutual respect, and the belief that faithful Christians can approach difficult questions with humility and grace and reach differing conclusions.
We seek a rector who can foster unity amid diversity, creating space where people feel heard, valued, and encouraged to grow together in faith. We hope for a leader who approaches differences with curiosity rather than judgment, builds relationships across perspectives, and helps our congregation remain focused on our common mission of worship, discipleship, and service.
We are looking for a priest who leads with compassion, wisdom, and integrity—someone who can steer us through challenges, encourage healthy dialogue, and help us strengthen the bonds of our parish community. Our hope is for a rector who inspires us to love one another well, even when we do not always agree, remembering that our identity is rooted first in Christ and our Baptismal Covenant.
