The student ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church exists to encourage and equip students in their walk with Christ. We gather together regularly for community building, service and spiritual formation, seeking to know God better and discover His will for our lives.
Students meet every Sunday morning at 9:15 A.M. in the youth Sunday School room to study God’s word together. Each Sunday School consists of opportunities to talk about the previous week’s joys and challenges. We strive to meet varying learning styles and often include art, narrative writing and group discussion as an aspect of our learning. Through our Sunday School time students are encouraged to study and live out God’s word in the local church and in the world.
We gather regularly for the purpose of investing in the lives of others. Students have served in New Orleans, Nashville and several other cities throughout America. Locally, Trinity Students help serve meals at local missions, assemble Thanksgiving food boxes for hungry families and help encourage the local homeless shelters in their food drives. Trinity students also serve the parish through the acolyte ministry. We believe service is God’s call on all people, regardless of age. We seek to embrace that call in our daily lives.
Trinity Students get together each month to have fun, hang out and get to know each other. Each month you’ll find us gathering at a favorite pizza place, playing laser tag or paintball, catching a movie in Trinity’s Outreach Center, or just getting together to play games. We believe that we are called to “share life” with each other, have fun, and seek to grow together as God’s people. Our meeting and event times vary. You can find out about out upcoming events (and see some pictures of old events by going to the Trinity Youth Facebook Page).
